The Triangle Gains a second fortune 500

5 posts in this topic

I wanted to congratulate "The Pantry," based in Cary, of becoming the Triangle's second fortune 500!

The Pantry is the operator of the Kangaroo markets and the largest operator in the southeast. I wonder what companies will grow to become fortune 500s next??? Certainly Red Hat will eventually.

Don't forget that Raleigh is loosing Progress Energy to Duke Energy probably later this year or early next....so sad!

Well Redhat has announced that they expect revenues to top 3 billion within 5 years. Looking at the fortune 500 list, the last place one on the list has revenues of 4.3 . That being said, we could very well see a home grown fortune 500 within the next 8 years or so!
