Columbia Neighborhood Development Plans

I thought you guys might be interested in these. They're drawings that represent the Columbia Development Corporation's vision for several downtown neighborhoods. They're neat to look at. And even if a few things are "pie in the sky," they're slowly but surely becoming a reality. Even my dad (50-something), who has been known to profess that downtown Columbia will always be the crappy place it was in the '80s, is even starting to dig the new urban vibe that's going on here.

High rise fans may be disappointed , but there are a great many things that will go a long way to making Columbia a more livable city.

Ain't it cool!? They've actually updated it a few times lately, which is a nice change of pace. hehe.
