Today Jennings Osborne passed away after an extended stay at Baptist Hospital. He was well known for bringing joy to thousands of people in the Little Rock Area. He was known for his Christmas displays before a court ruling forced him to stop. If you ever had the privilege to enjoy one of his BBQ trow-downs you were lucky and did not leave hungry. For 20 years he and his family provided the fireworks for the closing of Riverfest.

I would like to see the Main Street Bridge named in his honor because this is where the fireworks were shot from. By naming the bridge the "Jennings Osborn Celebration Bridge" it would show his family that Little Rock will never forget this man.
