The Lofts at Mercer Village will hold its grand opening Wed Aug 24.Also holding their grand openings that day will be Foutain of Juice,Designer Tan and Margaritas Mexican Grill.Phase one of the The lofts at Mercer Village is complete,Phase two should be starting soon across the street.

constrcution has started on phase 2 which will have ground floor retail and office space.with loft apartments above.3 houses will be moved off of johnson Ave to another location in downtown,that section of Johnson Ave is now closed.

rendering of Phase two.today they annoucned a 4.6 million grant from the Knight Foundatin that will fund the Center for Collaborative Journalism at Mercer. It will be located on the first floor of phase two.It will be a partnership between Mercer,GPB and Macon Telegraph.
