Eakins Property Ray Hensler, president of Market Realty Advisors, proposed a 28-story condo tower in the Gulch just as the housing market stumbled. He recently switched the concept to an upscale 23-story, 300-unit apartment project expected for completion in 2012 at 12th Avenue South and Demonbreun. Its price tag will exceed $50 million Pine Street Flats Market Street Enterprises plans an apartment complex nestled between the Icon and Velocity at Pine Street and 11th Avenue South. By 2013, 300 one- and two-bedroom units ranging in price from $900 to $2,000 a month will be available for rentals. The plan also includes about 16,000 square feet of retail space. Lionstone Property In an area bordering Music Row at 1515 Demonbreun St., across from the Rhythm condos, Bristol’s developers are planning 250 apartment units expected to break ground by next year. And one of my favorite projects; Mass Transit By December, though, the Metro Transit Authority is expected to complete a feasibility study probing which transit option — bus rapid transit, light rail or modern streetcar — might work best for Nashville. Developers have a keen interest. They also mentioned the 11 North development, 300+ 4 story apartment complex in the north end of the Gulch which is now under construction.
