The Atlantic Coast Conference is expanding again

With the departure of Maryland there are indeed rumors that the ACC will expand again very soon. UCONN and Louisville seem the be the rumored candidates with UCONN being desired the most. Academically UCONN is among the top and has an exceptional basketball program. Can't wait to see Duke, Carolina and UCONN battling it out in the ACC. If the ACC goes for a 16 school super conference, Cincinnati has been mentioned as moving to the ACC. We could know if UCONN becomes a member of the ACC by December 1st. Looks like tradition is being thrown out the window but that may be a good thing. But this also means less ACC basketball tournaments in Greensboro where the ACC was founded and is headquartered.
