OneC1TYNashville Mixed-Use Project | UC

Cambridge Holdings is finalizing plans for its 2nd office building at OneC1TY (approximately 7-8 stories, 285,000 sq. ft. office space and 18,000 sq. ft. retail space) as well as another 275 unit apartment building of unknown height. Both structures are in early stages of Metro approvals. Hastings Architecture will handle the offie building, and Catalyst Design Group will handle the apartment structure. No timetable or renderings yet.

Looks much more imposing there than I expected. Not sure I like the high porte cochere... definitely don't like the blank wall. It'd be a great place for a nice looking mural.

I drove by here twice last week and can confirm that it is imposing because of its proximity to the street.  It makes OneCity feel more like a corporate campus.

Not sure how i missed this thread over the last year that i have been to Urban Planet.   I posted these (courtesy of Aerial Innovations) on the Charlotte forum last year.  A lot of work went in to the 28th-31st Connector project and it is nice to see how the west side of the road has been built up.   They have done a great job developing this area.   Hopefully the area around Division Street Connector between 2nd and 8th sees similar growth.

ONEC1TY could end up with an additional 250 residential units.  Cambridge Holdngs (the developer) is asking Metro Planning Commission for an amendment to allow for another residential structure to go along with the original two. This probably means that one of the office structures being planned would be nixed.  No new renderings/diagrams yet.

Nashville's first DI (Digital Innovation) Training Center will be located in 4,200 sq. ft. of the soon-to-open Element Hotel building at OneC1TY.

I remember when this first started I thought it was such a huge deal and was extremely excited about it.  Now it's a bit of an afterthought!

A bit more on the new 7 story, 261 unit  residential building:  It will be called Broadstone One City, and also include a 331 space garage. Dynamic Design will be the architect, and Catalyst Design will handle engineering/land planning.

Mark, I think we are retracing each others footprints. I was just out there yesterday and went ahead and marked this one complete along with a few others. It also looks as if the Holiday Inn on Elm Hill  is under Construction, but no permits have been issued.
