The Last Creating Places Column From ESU

Recommended Posts

Hopefully, the Rhythm and Velocity wouldn't get any love from an architectural point of view. But then again, the article never stated in what regard any of the buildings or spaces were "the best." (Best of the worst?) Of course, Williams' column lives on in blog form, linked to daily in the NashvilleCityPaper.

I wonder if and how the " best...neighborhoods" and "best urban districts with potential" would change. Has the Gulch already displaced some of the older districts? Is SoBro transforming into something completely different than what many were envisioning back then? What about Woodbine? That neighborhood seems pretty far removed from the urban discussion, one of many blue collar and ethnic neighborhoods simultaneously growing and struggling in a suburban setting.
