Nashville Development Map of projects

Here is a little help for those of you that have a hard time following where all of the proposed developments and on going projects are. There may be a few small errors but did my best.

Areas in Brown indicate new roads or improvements.

Areas in Red are proposed.

Areas in Blue are under construction.

Areas in Yellow indicate possible new areas of development where most buildings could come down with the exception of only a few.

Proposed projects

1 – OneC1ty development (over 1 million sq ft of office space/hotel/retail/residential) 1st two buildings scheduled to start 2012

2 – Alliance Residential project (Broadstone @ Centennial 235 unit apartment building) scheduled to start 2012

3 – New Health Department building scheduled construction 2012

4 – West End Village Giarratana Development (244 unit apartment building, 2 buildings) scheduled to start 2012

5 – Park 25 Giarratana Development (9 story ,200 unit apartment building) scheduled to start 2012

6 – Proposed mixed use development with 8 story hotel (scheduled to start 2012)

7 Kissam Residence Hall (Vanderbilt University) scheduled to start 2012

8 – Residence Inn/ Spring Hill suites (9 story hotel building) after many delays scheduled to start 2012

9 – West End Summit ( 2 buildings, 15 story Inter Continental hotel 325 rooms with a 27 story office building) Project has been delayed for years after start on property. Alex Palmer Company claims it will start 2012

10 – Bristol Development (9 story 240 unit apartment building with Publix market as 1st floor anchor) scheduled to start 2012

11 – 2 large projects at this lot (1 a 23 story luxury apartment building by Ray Hensler and a 20 story office tower by Eakin Partners) both projects tentative for 2012

12 – Market street development and Spectrum properties (20 story office building) no start date*

13 - Market street development and Spectrum properties (12 story office building) no start date*

14 - Market street development (Pine Street Lofts apartments) 305 units scheduled to start 12/2011

15 - Market street development and Spectrum properties (12 story office building) no start date*

16- Market street development and Spectrum properties (12 story office building) no start date*

17 – Vision Hotel company (Hotel planned) no information or start date yet. Property just acquired

18 – Renovation of Bill Voorhees building with additional floor to be added to 5 story building. Start date 2012

19 – Addition of multilevel parking garage for Nashville City Center (possible addition of office space on top as well) no details yet

20 – Giarratana Development (proposed 38 story office building 700,000 sq ft.) no start date

21 – Nashville Medical Mart (proposed 12 story addition to current convention center) 1.5 million sq ft of exhibition space, scheduled start date 2012

22 – Giarratana Development (proposed 30 story luxury apartment building) start date 2012

23 - Giarratana Development (proposed 17 story hotel) start date 2012

24 – White Lodging (proposed 13 story Hyatt Place Hotel) start date 2012

25 – Proposed site of new amphitheater or mixed use development at some point. No decision or use for land at this point in time.

26 – Proposed front runner site for Sounds Baseball stadium and mixed use site (80 acres of industrial land now)

27 – Proposed mixed Use development by Crosland Southeast. Crosland is still buying property in the area and has assembled around 30 acres and wants to develop with in five years.

28 – Proposed African American Music Museum (shooting for a 2012 start)

29 – Long awaited proposed State Archives building (project delayed indefinitely)

30 - Long awaited proposed State Museum (project delayed indefinitely)

31 - Market street development and Spectrum properties (17 story office building) no start date*

32 – US Federal Courthouse (project delayed indefinitely

due to budget concerns)

33 - Seven Hundred Five Woodland 60 units

* Market street partnership with Spectrum properties would be 1.5 million sq ft in office space
