Not sure how much folks realize the impacts that brownfield redevelopment has had on the growth we've seen in Nashville, Knoxville, and Chattanooga. In Nashville, generally all of the development in the Downtown/SoBro area has been on brownfields.

Driving around Nashville today I noticed how many neighborhoods have new houses in them. Many look like they're made of 'plastic' and kind of look cheap (between 8th and 12th Ave S for example). And there's so many of them. Any idea if these houses are well made/durable? How will they age in 10-20 years?

 

Any insights would be greatly appreciated

The crowds are getting bigger and bigger for the viewing parties outside the arena  (Broadway Plaza and Walk of Fame Park) for the Predators playoff games.  Tonight should be large as well. Bridgestone is sold out (some tickets going for $1,000+ ).  Here are photos from a few nights ago:
