I just noticed that the pictures of Nashville on its Wikipedia page have been updated to include a comparison of the skyline b/n 2009 & 2018.

The funny part is that the AT&T Building looks about the same from each angle, so if you weren't familiar with the city, you might be led to believe that Nashville filled in the Cumberland River and built a convention center over it.

So we’re hotter, colder, wetter, and probably seasonably drier than London? Is London just like year round fall weather?

I know many complain that our skyline is flat, boxy, or uninspired, but I love it. For a city our size I think we have a nice mix of interesting buildings. Nashville looks very modern at first glance. I'd be the first to admit that I would love a tallboy with a crown, but even if things remained as they are I'd be pleased. With all the infill that has taken place or in the pipeline, our little skyline is looking very dense.  Once the project along Broadway and the Gulch go up it's really going to connect the midtown and downtown skylines.

It's amazing that in just a few short years, the Pinnacle building went from standing out like a sore thumb, to practically being unnoticeable. Keep going, Nashville! Build it up!!!!

So they include Clarksville, which is not in the MSA or even CMA, but leave out Columbia, which is in the MSA....
