Nashville Bits and Pieces

I saw a couple of signs on my drive through downtown this morning.

Charlotte Ave. in downtown is now Dr. M. L. King (Blvd?).

And the Moore office building in Midtown has a sign up with a rendering and a coming soon notice.

May have missed previous posts about these, but noting it anyway.

I was hoping that Moore building was going to happen, I love the rendering.

Also, is the MLK on a brown sign or a green one?

It was a regular green street sign at 11th in front of the HCA tower.

I knew it was proposed, but I'm surprised it happened so quickly.

Nice, I think that makes it an official re-naming rather than an "honorary" one (like 5th Avenue/Predators Way).

San Fran-based NomNomNow pet food producer will locate a new production facility in Davidson County that will produce 181 jobs. No address of the facility released yet.

The Mars pet food presence here is massive.  Hill's Science Diet has a plant in Bowling Green, KY.  There may be other plants nearby I don't know about.

In-N-Out > Hot Chicken.

Just cause you have to order yours mild doesn't mean you have to say things like that ;)

In-N-Out = Glorified Sonic

SONIC is the boss of southern fast food. All hail the mecca of teenage hangouts, scheduled fistfights and the take-out bags that always have a couple extra tater tots at the bottom even though you didn't order them. Admit it, you eat those two loose tater tots too.
