Thank you. It’s funny, because we were dining around today, and she said the one museum she’d really like to visit was the JCM.

Thank you!! Visited family today in Clarksville. Went on the Clarksville Greenway and loved it. Which greenway in Nashville would you say is best? I’ve heard good things about Shelby Bottoms.

Thank you!! Visited family today in Clarksville. Went on the Clarksville Greenway and loved it. Which greenway in Nashville would you say is best? I’ve heard good things about Shelby Bottoms. 

Shelby Bottoms is good, mostly flat. For more variety of terrain, Stones River Greenway is a better option.

If this is the same group trying to recall the mayor and the council people in Nashville that voted for the tax increase, then the magic number is 68,000.

The problem with this whole recall is when you recall them and elect a whole new group is that the budget has to be balanced either by tax increases and cuts in services or both. If the budget is not balanced, the the State gets to come in and set the rate WHERE EVER they want to set it.  Most of the time these citizen efforts are very poorly thought out and are knee jerk reactions and if successful will come back and bite them in the ass.

How did you get to your number? For the referendum on the tax increase, Roberts is saying he only needs 4,500. Not saying he is right, but it’s not clear how many signatures are needed.

It depends on the number of registered voters. For county wide offices, they need at least 15% of registered voters to sign a petition. For council members/elected officials  that represent a specific district, the petition needs 15% of registered voters from that district.
