Providence Road and Fairview Road,  A. big project going on there.

There are actually two large (re)developments going on at that intersection.

One is Strawberry Hill (on the BB&T side of Providence) - http://www.charlotteobserver.com/news/business/biz-columns-blogs/whats-in-store/article118929063.html

The other is on the west side of Providence... -  https://www.bizjournals.com/charlotte/print-edition/2015/04/03/coming-soon-big-makeoveron-providence.html

This is the best "generic" forum for this question.

Does anyone know or have a map or a link to how deep is bedrock in Uptown? (and around if that info is available).

This doesn't exactly answer your question, but http://ncdenr.maps.arcgis.com/apps/MapSeries/index.html?appid=a8281cbd24b84239b29cd2ca798d4a10 is a fun map for NC geology.

A lot of that surplus would be great for residential land some looks almost undevelopable to me but I applaud CMS for trying to sell it.

at a glance, the parcel on 10th st could be a very useful small commercial building next to Intermezzo and help connect the Otts street stuff to Central. If they save the building, the Morgan School parcel in Cherry could be an outrageously cool multifamily. And Dorchester Place in Sedgefield would make a fine multifamily project in an area that sorely needs higher-end MF options.

The Stafford Drive site is probably future airport parking...

What happened to the aerials around the Metropolitan?  There appears to be a cloud or a bunch of smoke in the air . . .

The sat pass was during the Russian invasion. Their is a statue of Patrick Swazie commemorating the battle  on the greenway behind Vivache

I just cleaned up a bit also... can someone look at the Federal rail project near Wilmore and check the project boundaries... I'm not sure it is correctly shown.

Redrew it to match the NCDOT maps:

Removed a few residential and retail projects in SouthEnd that are completed and on the map.

Removed some completed sections of City Park and added the next planned phases shown in the rezoning last year:

Added Dilworth South
