United Community Bank purchased 2.256 acres on 5/13/21 for $6.3 mm.  The 10 parcels are along Falls and Webster Streets.  About $2.79 mm per acre.

A parking lot. A freaking parking lot. I cannot wait. I’m soo excited.

Nobody pays $6.3 million for a parking lot. It will be developed.  It is a parking lot now anyway.

This is one of  the areas of town with the most potential. Such a great blank canvas in a superb location.  IIRC Greenville wants this area to be the future "Innovation District" for start-ups and university resources with good mixed use residential/office space/commercial and great walkability.

Looking forward to watching this space. Hopefully its not just more normal drab apartments with first floor run of the mill restaurants.

The office building at the corner of S. Main and Broad St. (210 S. Main St.) sold for $16.6 mm on 5/18/21.

What business occupied this building?  Google is confusing with ownership...TIA.   I was hoping it was located on the other side of Main....

This is the building with Fidelity and the seafood restaurant  that borders the courtyard where the ice skating rink goes in the winter.  The courtyard hotel itself was not included.

910 Laurens Rd sold for $950k on 8/20/21. The buyer already owns 912 Laurens Rd.  The two combined total 1.16 acres at the corner of Laurens and Blair St.

If I remember correctly, that was a trophy place and a luxury car place right? I moved to FL about 2 years ago now so I don't know if those two places are in business still.

Cool. Which building?

Not sure. The location downtown wasn't listed in the P&C this morning: https://www.postandcourier.com/greenville/business/details-of-walmarts-massive-spartanburg-center-united-community-bank-to-lease-space-notes/article_c97daf6a-3661-11ec-8259-0f8c711f9611.html

United Community Bank plans to sublease an additional 10,000 square feet of office space downtown to accommodate new employees while it builds its headquarters in downtown Greenville.

CEO Lynn Harton told The Post and Courier in a wide-ranging interview that the bank is currently negotiating a lease and did not disclose the location. Harton expects the bank may have to lease a few more small spaces over the next few years to accommodate the growing number of employees. The company officially relocated its headquarters to Greenville from Blairsville, Ga., in the summer.

30 McBee Street sold for $1,764,000 on 11/5/21.   This is the bank drive-thru that fronts on S. Main next to Carolina Ale House and also McBee.  The exact corner of McBee and Main is a separate parcel that is not included.

1225-2127 Pendleton Street, the Handee Mart shopping center sold on 11/2/21 for $2,350,000. The parcel is 1.883 acres.
