The law office and Mediation Center buildings that runs the length of Mordecai St. from Washington to McBee (across from Independence Bank and next to Davenport Bldg) has changed ownership.  The total price appears to be about $2mm for the 1 acre.  New owner is Washington Street Real Estate with a Greer mailing address.  Anyone know what if anything might be happening with this.

I have long thought this site was prime for redevelopment into a mixed use project with offices and retail.  Location is ideal, IMO.

Stuart Wyeth, Tyson Smoak ,Ford Borders of Earle Furman represented the sellers in this transaction

5,000 SF has been leased to Bike Street USA at 35 Peden St. (Swamp Rabbitt Crossfit building).

It's for the second floor office space above the Brown Street Club: http://www.loopnet.com/xNet/Looplink/Profile/Profile.aspx?stid=/brokers/naiearlefurman&LID=16481840&LL=true&UOMListing=&UOMMoneyCurrency=&RentPer=PY&SRID=3167930579 The club itself was not for sale or lease.

A dueling piano bar is going before the zoning board for approval for the old Jazz Club location.

Behind the Brio condo is a vacant lot bordering Church, Rose, Watts and Houston Streets.  It covers all of that block except one parcel/building, and is about 1.3 acres.  It has survey stakes on all sides.  Does anyone know of the potential buyers or any plans there might be?

I drove by yesterday and there was a sign for Primrose School of Greenville. There was nothing that techniclly said coming to this location or anytihng but the website lists it as coming soon. No address listed on the website. Seems weird that sign would be at that location unless the school was going to be built there.

**Out of hiding**

The two parcels there were bought by the owner of Holiday Inn & Express downtown for a new hotel. Groundbreaking is slated for mid-2014. There are other hotel projects brewing downtown also in addition to this, JHM's project, and Embassy Suites.

Glad to see you posting again. Any idea how many rooms or floors are planned?

Keller Williams would be moving to Markley st. But I assumed it was the office on Augusta Moving.

So that would be the building that Oobe was going to go to?  Would they take the whole thing or just part?  There was a Winery looking at part of that building a few months back.  Is that still a possibility?
