I hope everyone has had a chance to see the boats at Harborfest this weekend. I went Friday and had a blast. The festival is running through Monday. The blessing of the fleet is Tuesday at 7 am and the boats will be leaving soon afterwards.

Hampton Roads Transit is doing a FANTASTIC job of moving people around. Shuttle buses running between all the fest sites, extra light rail runs, and three ferries running between Portsmouth and Norfolk at the same time. They have opened 2 park-and-ride lots at the Fort Norfolk TIDE station until midnight Sunday night. Even the privately-run water taxi has been working overtime.
