Note: Near the end of the article, Mike Higgins says that he is "moving forward on [his] renovation plans." I have just one question: when?! The guy has said for years that he plans to convert Broderick Tower into condos, but since he refuses to work with outside investors, it hasn't happened.

Higgins owns Broderick Tower, which he plans to convert into 100 condos. He also owns the Farwell Building in Capitol Park, which he plans to convert into 45 condos. Interestingly enough, I read an article in the Free Press a while back that quoted a demoltion contractor saying that they had just toured the Farwell Building to give a demolition estimate.
