Plans for a $15 million renovation of the Park-Shelton apartments at 15 East Kirby St. into 220 condominium units were unveiled Monday by Park Shelton Associates L.P. and Walter Cohen.

Along with renovation and restoration of the 12-story, 78-year-old building just north of the Detroit Institute of Arts, the project is to include construction of a four-story parking garage.

Condos will range from less than $100,000 for a studio to between $240,000 and $300,000 for a two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit.
