Glass skyscrapers in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. If pic links are broken, go to Emporis.

DALLAS

- Bank of America Plaza, 927 feet, built 1985. View from Reunion Tower in first pic. Outlined in neon in last pic.

- Renaissance Center, 886 feet, built 1974. This used to be the tallest building in Dallas when built until BofA stole that honor 11 years later. Tallest in Texas for 8 years until Houston's TX Commerce (now JP Morgan Chase) Tower took over.

- Fountain Place, 720 feet, built 1985.

Chase Texas Tower, 477 feet, 1982. Built two years earlier than its taller twin, it was also known as City Center Tower I.

The Tower, 453 feet, built 1974; now reconstructed to finish in 2005. Formerly known as Bank One, this tower was severly damaged in a tornado in March 2000. Bank One lost all of that office space and relocated to a 10 story building across the street. Simply called "The Tower," it is reconstructed to be Fort Worth's tallest condominium high-rise, as shown in first rendering. Note two of the last three with every other window pane out.
