Yeah, it's quite subjective, isn't it?

They are 2 very different cities with their own unique characteristics in all aspects.

I like places with a romantic end of the earth quality, Perth has that in how it is set apart from the eastern population centre of Australia. I grew up on Cape Cod, which is a penninsula that juts out into the Atlantic, and has a similar end of the earth feel.
