$15 million for the new people mover;

huh? What are they looking to do? Just new cars and maintainance?

$6 million for completion of infrastructure in the north Brush Park neighborhood.

What infrastructure are they talking about?

Hopefully the Police budget will go toward turning the Michigan Central Train Depot into the new police headquarters.

New people mover means money to maintain the people mover...although the way the article is written it's like they want to expand it.

New infrastructure is North Brush Park is replacing all the roads, sidewalks, streetlights, and water lines. The southern part of the neighborhood has already received new infrastructure.

I really don't think the police budget will go towards MCS. That is just a pipe dream. The city has no way of funding such a huge project. I forgot how much MCS would cost to renovate, but it runs into the hundreds of millions of dollars.
