Today starts the fall motorcycle rally in Myrtle Beach...

It gets pretty out of hand at this time of year down there...the amount of traffic on Ocean Boulevard is too awful for words to describe. I think I'd steer clear of having a "weekend at the beach" until after Sunday October 3rd.

Yes, I made the mistake of going this year when it was down there. Had no idea it was that week. Took twice as long to get to the hotel than it usually does, bad part is, the hotel was in viewing distance for the extra 3 hours it took us to get there. LOL! That's how bad it gets. And the ENTIRE strip shuts down, nothing is open. I refuse to do that again.
