Downtown historic district plan gaining momentum

Recommended Posts

I had no idea that downtown Jacksonville wasn't already a historic district. Hopefully this move will go through and help aid in the recovery and restoration of downtown's historic structures.

Too bad they didn't do this a year ago. We might already see construction at the Laura Trio. I hope this helps Langton, for all the crap he's had to go through on these buildings. And I hope it helps every other developer. Jacksonville is so lucky to have experienced its building boom in the 20's and 30's, and they're also fortunate to have many of those projects fixed up and redeveloped.
