Levine has issued a LOI for the sitework and infrastructure improvements for the park.

an LOL??

he gets plenty of those, when people read his name and "sitework" in the same sentence.

From the CBJ:

"Other projects to watch include the First Ward urban village and park, a partnership involving the long postponed Levine Properties development of offices, apartments and shops and restaurants, with county and city investments in parking and other incentives. Smith said this week Levine and the county will start work on an open-air park this spring."

So now it's a spring start date. Sure it is....

Small tidbit in the scheme of things but more evidence that the wheels are starting to turn on this project:

City Council approved purchase of a 1/3 acre Property on Feb 24 at 631 N Brevard St. This was the last remaining property needed so that the construction of 10th St can begin between Brevard and the Lynx Blue Line Extension. This section of 10th St will be the main entry for the Apartments and Parking Deck that Levine is hopefully going to start construction on soon.

This is somewhat speculation, but Levine Properties has an open position for a Project Manager to manage "multiple projects", so it appears that the 200 units that they have been pulling permits on will actually start, and maybe even another one (metropolitan?).
