Welcome to the forum, Nick in Atlanta!!

I'd have to agree, some of the buildings are old and drab. However, there are also many neat old historic skyscrapers there, like the Power & Light Building. I also like One Kansas City Place.

I like their "old" skyscrapers. Any additional info on the AT&T Longlines building? That is a really strange building.

I drove from St. L to KC once and was really impressed with how big KC looked. It has a very nice skyline in person IMO.

Anything new in KC recently, built, U/C, or about to break ground?

BTW thanks for the pics.

Thanks for the pics. The skyline does look a little dated, but I don't think its bad (certainly not bad enough for a thumbs down). Hopefully there will be some new stuff taking off before too long.

There is a lot happening in KC now. They are set to get many new buildings downtown, & probably some new skyscrapers too :).

The people at Crown Center told me that the heights for the proposed projects can be raised for demand.

Like those twin 13 floor buildings can be raised to a maximum of 280ft.

Nice pano. I love the idea of just being able to build higher if you feel like it. Freedom from NIMBYs?

possibly, some people complained about that new 26 floor tower in southern crown center cause it blocked their view of downtown... Too late! ;)

Not many people ever complain, most don't even care.
