Mixed-use project announced for downtown St. Petersburg

Pre-sale registration is under way at 1010 Central, a five-story mixed-use residential condominium development in St. Petersburg's downtown district.

Atlanta-based Miles Properties Inc. is developing 1010 Central.

The $20-million project on Central Avenue and 11th Street will have 112 one- and two-bedroom units at 860 to 1,475 square feet. Prices will range from the $160,000s to more than $300,000.

Construction by Batson-Cook Construction Inc. is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2005, with occupancy slated for spring 2006.

St. Petersburg has improved quite a bit. Its by far one of the most vibrant small cities Ive seen.

More good news. I am happy St. Petersburg is getting quality development now, it wasn't getting much when I lived there.
