Great, because we don't have enough open parking lots downtown.  Hope this one gets turned down.

I don't see anything surprising? Not sure why they included projects that say cancelled.

Lofts at Stone and Rowley along with Home2 Suites were thought to be dead but really aren't. I only see one cancelled project included and that's the gateway site. I'm not sure why they included it either. Does seem rather odd.

Thought to be dead by you.

Wasn't sure where to put this, but I just noticed last night that the new Hampton Inn at Haywood has LED lights around the entire parapet of the building. They just seem to be a constant cool white color, and almost give the appearance of neon lights (as they don't really shine on the building like Riverplace etc, but act simply as a singular strip of lights around the entire top). It's... Interesting, and certainly grabs your attention. My judgement is still out on this. I appreciate the idea of a different lighting sheme that doesn't produce light pollution, however the other half of me cringes with the thoughts of Myrtle Beach and Daytona Beach and South Beach... Ah, at least they are not colored? Thoughts?

I like the lighting scheme, and the interior design is impressive as well.

Does anyone know what's being built across the street from the new credit union they built in the old pawn shop? It's at the corner of Washington and Butler. Greenville water on it but it seems like an odd place to put that. Is that what it is?

Expanded campus of Greenville Water.
