A large * firm is apparently planning to open a new office in Greenville sometime soon.  I heard downtown could be the location.  Perhaps this will be one of the "several [...] announcements of large companies that will be in the Camperdown office building" coming soon? (source of quote)

*I am not at liberty to specify the industry

I saw this on the county planning website and was wondering if it would be located within the city limits or not: https://www.greenvillesc.gov/AgendaCenter/ViewFile/Item/5960?fileID=25510 Guess I got my answer.

Most of it is already in the city but 2.25 acres would be annexed including two existing doughnut holes.

Limited information here, but Base 360 soon will be closing on a piece of land close to downtown that will have up to 100 tiny homes between 400-900 sq ft and will start below $100k. If I’m not mistaken, the Instagram video also said the property was near Swamp Rabbit, but I’m not 100% if that was my imagination.

Confirmed, it is near the Swamp Rabbit  and also will be called “The Elements — Eco.”

I doubt this is in any way related to the Base 360 Project going on along Green Ave south of DT called "Elements West", but the naming gives me pause. I know Green Ave is not near the Swamp Rabbit, though.

I am not a fan when developers use the same name for different properties; it's unnecessary and confusing. Wonder if this will progress faster than that project.

They are developing “Elements West” and also the “Gather GVL” foodhall. Come to think of it, I wouldn’t be surprised if “Elements Eco” tiny homes are shipping containers. That said, the Instagram video also said that “Gather GVL” has been postponed from April to a June opening due to both unfavorable weather + the shipping containers taking longer than expected to prefab.

Any new information on “Elements Eco” received will be posted here.
