The story behind it is here in Dover they are going to be developing this whole waterfront area near downtown. It has been discussed for years and the first step was to dredge the river to allow larger boats to come up river. When the work begins it should be the biggest thing going on in the city.

I went behind smileys the other day to watch them drege,m pretty cool to watch, the develoment is going to be huge it will end up going all the to the pisqutiqua river, soon it will be much bigger than Portsmouth and probably bigger than Nashua
