Trade, Transportation and Utility account for 23% of our labor force, Health Services 18%, Liesure and Hospitality 14%. Tallahassee is the headquarters for nearly every Florida association (Such as the League of Cities, League of Counties, Association of Private Colleges, Bank Associations, etc.). Manufacturing here is only 3%. Construction is 8%.

Indeed, indeed. That is becoming more and more apparent.

All Saints condos marching in

Complex is 10th by downtown, FSU

Another condominium development is under way in the downtown Tallahassee area, this time just south of the Civic Center in the heart of the Gaines Street Vitalization Project.

"We broke ground about two weeks ago," developer Peter Rosen said Thursday, referring to the All Saints Condominiums between St. Francis and All Saints streets, a block south of Gaines Street.

"We're about 80 percent sold out," Rosen said, "and we've only been selling a week."

Similar sales success has been reported at other condo projects in the downtown area and near Florida State University.

The All Saints project is the tenth condo complex to be located either in or near the downtown area or near FSU.

This is so wonderful. The next condos to come will have to be taller than 16 stories, because there is not that much land for more. This is great. I can't wait to all the condos are completed. Big props to mayor John Marks. He is really making a difference.
