City Hall Receives Ramps Sale Plan

What building is the old Alma Latina building? Do you have any photos? I don't get to downtown GR much anymore, especially now that I'm living down in Detroit for school.

Unfortunately I don't. I'll try to take some pictures of South Division this week. It is actually quite amazing the amount of renovation that is going on in the blocks north of Wealthy.

The two Alma Latina building were "merged" into one during the sixties (complete with a full aluminum "skin" covering all of the windows). They have peeled away the aluminum and exposed the two Italianate buildings underneath. Work seems to going on at a rapid pace but there are no coming soon signs.

I'm sure they will get filled. If downtown Detroit can attract retail, so can GR, seeing as how GR has a more lively downtown. I'm looking forward to seeing those pics!
