Im looking for a good real estate agency in Boston

A friend of mine is moving to Boston next month and I have to check out some apartments for her. Does anyone know of or have any experience with a good agency in Boston?

No, I've found they're all scum. I had a good agent in Waltham who was very accomodating, but she only covered Waltham, Watertown, Newton.

It is a good time to be looking though, with the college rush over, the agents will tend to be hungrier and more willing to deal. I read that rents are declining slightly, so you may be able to push for some breaks, reduce the deposit or whatnot. I usually had the unfortunate experience of having to find a place for September 1st when I lived in Boston (I wasn't even a student, I don't know how I got locked into that cycle), so my experience with realtors is coloured by that.
