Here is an update on the plans to bring more bike access to MPLS. This would seem to be a fairly unique program for most cities in the USA.

I'm surprised this wasn't done years ago. It's really amazing how many people ride their bike in Minneapolis, even during the winter! I read a while back that over 10,000 people ride their bike daily for commuting and recreation in Minneapolis. I'm pretty sure this came from Men's Health so, I don't know how legite this claim is.
