Westin Towers

I forgot about this thread. Our Westin in Providence is indeed getting a second tower, in fact some pre-construction site work was going on today.

The current tower is at left, the new tower is at center, and will be taller than the existing tower. It will feature ground floor retail, several levels of parking, 200 additional hotel rooms, and 105 condo units (called The Residences at The Westin Providence).

At 360 feet it will not be a new tallest for Providence, however we're getting a new tallest down the street. B)

Proposed Westin 500ft+ at Town Center in Virginia Beach, VA. Everything's been aproved. It should be completed in 2007.

I do think Charlotte's tower is one of the nicest looking.

Yes. It will be the tallest in the state at 38 stories (36 occupied floors and 32 mechanical) and 501 feet. Construction starts next month. Here's another rendering.
