Renderings for the newest addition to Morrison have been featured in the Business Journal. The building is in the usual charlotte apt building style (much like Ashton Southend). It will be Twelve Floors at its tallest, and will sit on 8 acres fronting Sharon Rd. It will feature 298 independent living quarters, and 66 assisted living/nursing quarters. Apartments will be quite large ranging from 1,050 to 2,300 sq feet. One will have to pay handsomly with an insane entrance fee of $575,000 and still pay the 400/sq. feet for your condo. A big plus to the project is it will contain 50,000 sq feet of stuff open to the public. There will be a 20,000 sq foot wellness center and 30,000 sq feet of retail oriented toward the retail project.

Another Rendering and a siteplan, looks like there is another building, that is 6 stories that will be right along Sharon Rd. This site plan finally makes me understand exactly how this thing is going to happen.post-17104-1250726592_thumb.jpg

All part of the new retirement community. I believe there is supposed to be some ground floor commercial space, but mostly supportive of the retirement community (think doctor's office).
