Kreinest triples space in Elks Building

Stewart Verney

Kreinest + Associates has moved into new offices in the Elks Building Downtown, more than tripling its space. The three-year-old advertising and public relations agency had been in temporary space in the building for about eight months.

The agency now has about 33,000 square feet in the building and expects to expand in 20005.

"Downtown Jacksonville is truly evolving and we're excited to be a part of it," said agency President Michael Kreinest. "The new space confirms our commitment to Downtown and provides us with much-needed room for growth."

Spokesman Keith Lechwar said the agency has done a lot of work outside of Jacksonville and in the new year will focus on landing more local clients.

"Primarily we've dealt with a lot of high-tech and business-to-business clients, mostly outside of Jacksonville," Lechwar said. "We have a great following in the high-tech corridor and we've tried to get a better foothold here locally."

Kreinest's clients include AOL, PSS World Medical and Petroferm. Lechwar said the agency will announce new clients in the next few weeks and expects to add to the staff of six.

"I think we could definitely double our workforce here in the next year," he said. "We've got a lot of potential opportunities."

Coming on the heels of Cannon Design taking most of the third floor, this building must be close to full by now. Gold's gym will open across the street soon as well.
