I got particularly bored so I headed DT yesterday afternoon to see the new arena construction and Courtside construction first hand:

The trolly passed just as I had started down the sidewalk so I grabbed this quick picture. I did notice it was about 1/4 full which was a bit suprising to me. I really didn't expect it to be that full.

Courtside construction. Man, it's a bit eerie out here when the sun goes down. I sure hope that changes once the arena and this condo building opens. Felt like I was walking in Macon, GA!

Nice pics...I was at By Design during the sunset yesterday...it was very dramatic...the whole skyline turned pink from that vantage point.

In the last pic, is that a crane for the Park!!? I'm tempted to go drive and see for myself, but the Cats are on.

I'm sure it is just an optical illusion, and it is just on arena crane, right? ...

Now that you mention it, I don't know, LOL! The crane does look a bit too far off to be in the arena block but I could be wrong. I didn't 'notice' anything around The Park yesterday but maybe I overlooked it. I doubt they'd use that type of crane for The Park though with its height. I'm calling it an optical illusion, but we can all dream right? 8-)
