Taipei 101

I don't love it, but I don't hate it. I think the pagoda style is kinda cool, but not really for something so massive. I think it would've been a better fit on a smaller buidling. It breaks my heart to see another building knock my beloved Sears Tower down another notch on the World's Tallest list... but, I am VERY glad to see it knock off the Petronas Towers, which NEVER should've been allowed to hold the WTB title at all.... NEVER EVER

Well, I voted "good" because in my mind it is an above average building but it doesn't seem to be an excellent piece of architecture.

I pity some of the asian countries that build one extremely tall building with no other hi-rises around its pointless!

I do like the Petronas at night, though.

i am the total opposite of this opinion... i gave it B. but, i like petronas towers better than taipei 101. i am a sucker for ceaser pelli.

Taipei 101, which looks like a giant steel-and-glass bamboo shoot, is equipped with a 733-ton ball suspended near the top that moves to counter the force of earthquakes or strong winds.
