Buckhead is getting ready for another development boom.

Two different developers have filed plans with the city of Atlanta to build big, new projects

The California crisis and the Enron debacle have effectively killed power deregulation. Duke formed its Crescent division long ago to sell land amoung its many lakes and rivers they were given control ove when they started to damn up the Catawba river basin in NC/SC.

I've often remarked that the Buckhead area looks like another city downtown. It is becoming much more dense with all of the nice high-rises going up there.
