Dog drops bomb at Magic game

The Magic brought out all the stops, apparently, in their win last night over the Detroit Pistons, as the start of the third quarter was delayed after a dog did his business on the Pistons' side of the floor.

No, really.

During a halftime presentation, in which the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation gave the Canine Companions for Independence a $10,000 check, a guide dog accompanying the organization left presents under the basket for the Pistons.

When the Pistons came out for warmups, Rasheed Wallace walked up to the lane where the excrement had fallen, stopped and stared in disbelief. His teammates were just as confused before wide smiles broke out.

A custodian was enlisted to scoop up the mess and wipe up the remains with cleaner, a mop and towels.

The Pistons kept their distance at the 3-point line as pooper-scooping arena workers feverishly cleaned up the court. Unable to warm up, Detroit was granted an additional three minutes.

It wasn't enough, though, as the Magic held off the Pistons to win, 103-101.
