Progress on Hudson - Raleigh, NC

This is lesser known project, mainly because it is neither a high-rise, nor as large as other projects, but it's significance lies on the fact that it will bring more residential activity on Fayetteville Street Mall. Hudson (as the former Hudson Belk building is now called) is going to be a 5-story residential building, with garden on the 2nd floor (facing Wilmington Street) and a major restaurant located on the ground floor. It is a far cry from what most downtown supporters would love to see, but it is nevertheless a great revitalization/reuse of an old building that sat there, empty, for many years.
