In looking for the Continental I came across a great shot of how the Everglades used to look in her prime.

From the Historical Museum of Southern Florida.

I'm sure the continental is one of those.

Here's a two shots from the UM postcard collection. One is the Everglades old style and one Biscayne Blvd when it was Hotel Row. I think the Continental is the one marked with an X but it's really hard to tell. I'll try to confirm tomorrow based on some books I have.

Just for reference here is a stock photo of the Riande Continental now. Maybe a better trained eye can figure it out.
