HELP! Image posting

ShowMeKC

Recommended Posts

Ok, I have a major problem

I'm trying to place a great KC Development thread with lots of photos in the KC section, part of it is already up

However it won't let me post images that have two . in the image name, nor a _ or anything like that. However most of the images have those.

It says i'm not allowed to post images like that, so could some1 please tell me why this happens and if you know why, could you please change it? thank you :)

i have no idea why, it seems that whenever I copy and paste the entire text, it won't let me post them. but when I do an individual image, it will...

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

'

The image has to end in one of our allowed file extenstions. Most common are .jpg or .gif. There are a couple of others that I don't remember. Paste an example here and I will let you know what is wrong.

because i'm trying to copy and paste the code for the post form a wordpad document.

I originally posted it on SSC, however things turned really sour and I still wasn't treated well... So b4 I left for good, I copied the thread on KC development and saved it in wordpad...

I can't post the image that is causing the problem because I don't know which image it is...

The document is probably 4 pages long and i've been copy and pasting the images/urls/text in 1/2 page segments to post.

however the error i get is that i can't post an image that is like this:

http://website.com/album/image.sized.jpg

and it says this is the proper format:

http://website.com/album/image.jpg

however me and allan have been able to post an image that has .sized.jpg on the end...

There's several images in that code that have a space between the opening IMG tag and the URL.

When I tried to post one with the space, it gave me an error message, when I removed the space, the photo posted (the image I tested had a '_' in the image name). Try going through the code, removing any spaces, and seeing if that fixes it.
