Mt Olivet

In Nashville lies an old cemetary east of downtown called Mt Olivet. Its got a number of classical style mosaleums and various works of art. Its one of the largest cemetaries around and it exists thanks to Nashville's older historic core.

Here are some photos I took last summer.

Mt. Olivet is an incredible place...especially on a cold, blustry winter day.

Heckles, I, or course, have a Mt. Olivet story, but perhaps we'll share that over a coffee at Bongo.

Looking at this map I realize how screwy Nashville's road numbering scheme is. There's a 41A, 41, 70S, 70, 31W, 31A, and 31E. No wonder you can't get around this city unless you are a local.
