Looks like they have finally begun work on the hotel. Large mounds of dirt and constructions trucks are on the lot. Maybe in a year or so when this project is complete, along with Walmart around the corner, this previously sad little triangle of land will at least be cleaned up (if not urban).

Does anyone know if this project is still going forward? The site is nothing but bulldozed dirty that is now sprouting plant life, to the delight of Jencoleslaw no doubt

The last time I was over there is was still the dirt piles and a hole had been dug. I will be driving by it this afternoon and if the weather hasn't ruined the opportunity, I will give a better update.

no need... i was there the other day and it's just a big empty fenced in lot with weeds doing quite well. no sign of any construction equipment or a "coming soon" sign or anything.
