Best Downtown Restaurant

Tom Z's WAS the best downtown, To bad it's gone to hell in the last year. When I lived in Flint me and the family were there every Sunday for breakfast. Wife and I split the Farmers Omlette. my son always ordered 2 eggs and toast. Daughter was always the ham and cheese omlette and the service was great. Last a week ago Sunday we were in Tom Z's my waitress nowhere to be found and the waitress I had was rude. She put someone elses food in front of my wife. My wife picked up said plate handed it to her and she took it to the right person. If I were the customer I would have wanted new breakfast hell my wife could have TB and been hacking all over it. Never got my toast. my 5 year old had a plate of fries tossed at him. And when all was said and done the waitress asked if there was a problem. My wife said yes we never got our toast you threw fries at my son and were rude. Her reply was "OH WELL". Atleast the owners son was there and he comp'd breakfast but I won't walk back into Tom Z's again. So my vote will have to be Rizzo's even though they moved it.

Wow, Middle Street. I haven't dined in there in a while - only takeout - and it looks like I may have been doing the right thing.

No doubt! Service is horrible dine in. That was the second time in a few recent trips. One night we had a waitress so lazy when the kids wanted shakes she brought out cups of hard ice cream with a straw. I asked what it was and she said some people like it that way. I replied only lazy waiteresses.

Was the woman pregnant who served u ? Thas my cousin's girlfriend/wife( dunno which lol), but from my experience, the food has always been good, the service decent to great and the restaurant clean.

No she was not pregnant just a Bi$$h. The Torch should have been on this list too. Just a bonus you can get drinks.
