The Lindt holiday truffles are the one ms. coleslaw is talking about. Milk outside, white inside. If you find the little Lindt ornaments stuffed with truffles, they will have those in them.

you might be my new favorite. i discovered those when they were dressed as little ghosts. and now they are little snowmen. they are delish.

OH my God I ate a whole bag of Lindor truffles yesterday too! And then cheesecake, pizzelles, almond cookies, trifle, flan cake, malasaddas, chips and taco dip, linguica dip, holy crap I am fat.

that's a lot of food. i had a bunch of truffles, the cheesecake... and then i made cookies, which is always bad because i generally eat at least half a dozen worth of dough.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all! Let's all take a moment of silence and hope that 2007 brings more vibrancy to our urban centers...less strain on our natural areas....Kudos to West Greenwich and their successful conservation victory....Let's hope that a solid proposal comes out of the Fogarty proposal....that Grant's Block gets development renders, that 110 actually breaks some sort of ground and Miriam sells some of their vacant lots on No. Main. Let's hope that the EP waterfront development moves into the next stage without looking like a Tampa suburb and the Loco-motion doesn't flop. Thank-you for an enlightening year of reading the opinions of others on the climate of Pvd. and RI. Although I sometimes find some of your opinions and ideals a little ridiculous, socialistic( you like that Ruchele huh), and at times borderline blasphemous and racist, I can say that a select few of you have altered my opinions on a number of things...esp. Garris. Have a great holiday!!

I did a search and I couldn't find a population thread so I will post here, I was looking and wondering if we have RI's 2006 population estimates and the number increase of 2005-2006 and the increase from 2000-2006. Thanks.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, as of 2005, Rhode Island has an estimated population of 1,076,189, which is a decrease of 3,727, or 0.3%, from the prior year and an increase of 27,870, or 2.7%, since the year 2000. :P

couldn't find anything for 2006 though

Well sir, safe to say, you & I sometimes clash.

Your opinions offend me, my opinions you trash.

And we've both butted heads oft'n enough on this site

That at times, I'm ashamed to think neither part right.

But I find I respect you, in a weird sort of way:

Though I might not agree, you believe what you say.

And I have to confess, I admire the way you

Have the courage to voice the unpopular view.

As for me, well, whatever conclusions you reach,

Grant me only this much: I believe in free speech,

And I'd hope that (as much as I proffer my own)

I equally let other viewpoints be known.

If there's one thing I'd wish said of me, it's that

Both in word and in deed, I'm a true democrat:

So let's bury the hatchet: if we've need of a reason,

We'll let bygones be bygones for the sake of the season.

Have yourself a merry little Christmas, Jerry.

Now if ya'll will excuse me, I've gotta run. I've got some serious last-minute shopping to do.

I'm an uncle!

My sister had a baby girl this morning. Now I have to wait for the damn boyfriend to get out of work so we can head to the Cape Cod Hospital and see the damn thing!

Congrats! Now, you must learn and accept the practice of changing diapers, bottle feeding, burping, and handling when your niece spits up. ;)

Happy Holidays to everyone here on UP!
