Here are a few more from last week. These will help to give some of you a better understanding of the vitality in downtown (especially Main Street). :)

Here are some from an afternoon stroll I took around downtown with my daughter on Saturday:

Signage

One of the things I love most about Downtown Greenville is the fact that is an abundance of very nice signs, directories, and maps everywhere downtown.

Enjoy Downtown Greenville Signs at every major entrance into Downtown:

Here are some more:

Another recent addition is that of the Newspaper/Periodical Boxes which replaced the individual boxes that were strewn all about downtown:

Great pics RT! So glad you did the series on the downtown signage. Another one of those "quality of life" details that Greenville has become adept at producing! People just don't get it until they see it. Thanks!

Here's a pic from yesterday. This is part of the Patewood Road area, just off of I-385. The construction in the foreground is a 4-5 story addition to the Saint Francis Women and Children's Hospital (not to be confused with their main hospital in the West End). In the background you see the addition to GHS's Patewood facility. Accros the street (off the shot) is where a new parking garage is also being constructed. Just another sign of the growing Greenville community. B)

Wow! They're coming right along with Saint Francis. I had the pleasure of spending a couple of days and nights there with my wife, then-four-year-old daughter and her new little brother just over three months ago. We watched them begin to dismantle that part of the building while we were there. It's amazing what a couple of months can do. :)
