Downriver residents get $13 million for flooding

Wayne Co., Detroit to pay 9,000 residents for sewage-damaged basements in 2000.

Wayne County: $5 million Allen Park: $3.35 million

Southgate: $2.625 million

Taylor: $500,000

Dearborn Heights: $325,000

Ecorse: $195,000

Lincoln Park: $150,000

Inkster: $100,000

Riverview: $5,000

How does this involve Detroit? It is isn't one the eight cities paying and this rest the money is coming from the county?? So how the hell is this typical Detroit?

If one area of a county is affected, the whole county is affected no matter what the circumstances are.
